The problem

South Sudan's NGO Act 2016 and its Registration Procedures and Regulations require organisations to register with the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission and renew annually, with the registrar reviewing and validating each application before approval.

The solution

The platform implements self-registration by organisations, with the registrar retaining review and validation before approval; registration certificate issuance; annual registration renewal; and closure and cessation handling, alongside a hierarchical dashboard aggregating registrations by sector and state. The engagement also carries a multi-lingual public website in English and Arabic and a document repository for the Commission's information products.

Our role

A team member delivered UI/UX and application development within a three-person consultancy team.

Outcome

The full statutory cycle in one platform: an application entered by the organisation, approved by the registrar, certified, and renewed annually on a fixed calendar.
