The problem
The South Sudan NGO Forum's function is holding and maintaining a register of its members — national and international NGOs operating in South Sudan — and giving them a shared home for coordination and sector guidance materials that stays findable as the collection grows.
The solution
A headless Drupal 8 platform with a React front end: the main website, a documents portal with structured metadata, and authenticated service and communication portals for member organisations. The member platform carries self-service registration creating a new member profile, authenticated profile management, membership renewal and membership certificate issuance, serving 237 national and 110 international organisations.
Our role
We built the platform between April and December 2017 and have supported it continuously since.
Outcome
In continuous production since December 2017, with more than eight years of unbroken support.
